In October of 1415 Henry V's army defeated the much larger French Army at the battle of Agincourt. As a result, the Treaty of Troyes (1420), gave Henry the French King the Crown of France upon the French king's death and the King's youngest daughter in marriage.
Henry V, King of England, and Catherine of Valois, Princess of France, were married on June 2, 1420 in Troyes France. In early February of 1421, Henry may have sent Catherine ahead of him to prepare for her coronation that took place on February 23,1421.
In Courting, Henry has finally come from France to attend her coronation Instead of going straight to London he lands in Kent there so that he can personally tell Lady Mary Moore of her husband's death. He does so due to her being a descendant of ancient Kentish royalty and her family's importance to the realm. But when Henry arrives at her castle, he looses something very important to him, the key to Catherine's chastity belt. The search is on and pandemonium ensues.
King Henry V - "A Key, A Key! My Kingdom for a key!"
Queen Catherine- "This contraption must go."
Bishop of Bathing Well- "Parting is such sweet sorrow when one has little hair left to comb."
Duke William - "I will be so moving fast as to heed not the wind whether it come to my face or back side"
Lady Mary Moore - "Though my name be Mary, I am not merry and shall not marry thee."
Sir Edward - "I am nobbily dubbed Sir Lot-o-Lance"
And much much more.......
